DENISE BAS-ARZUAGA is CEO and a Founder of Civil Design Inc.  She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Miami in 1997 and has over 22 years of architectural services experience.  She is an accomplished sustainability project champion, and has lectured and taught other architects on the principles of sustainable design.  Denise was a recipient of AIA Palm Beach’s John Stetson, FAIA Award for service to the profession in 2017 and served as President of AIA Palm Beach in 2018.  She was the founding chair for the Women in Architecture Committee of AIA Palm Beach, and remains involved with this committee as a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion in the practice of architecture.
